On 2010-03-28, at about 7.40 am, my weight by Camry = 55.9 kg + 500g = 56.4 kg. I also used Tanita BC-532 Body Composition Monitor to confirm that my weight was 56.4 kg.

My current BMI is within the healthy range of 18.5 to 22.9.

For me, the range of healthy weight is 50.9786 kg (BMI = 18.5) to 63.10324 kg (BMI = 22.9).

People with BMI values of 23 kg/m2 (or 25 kg/m2 according to some sources) and above have been found to be at risk of developing heart disease and diabetes.

To be healthy, I must have a healthy weight.

Be as lean as possible without being underweight, as recommended by World Cancer Prevention Foundation, United Kingdom.

S.O.S.-free multi whole grains cereal. hi

My healthy and nutritious lunch on 2014-10-31: S.O.S.-free multi whole grains cereal.

The ingredients:

Just boiled water, Bob's Red Mill 10 grains flour (containing whole wheat, whole grain rye, whole grain triticale, whole grain oats, whole grain corn, whole grain barley, brown rice, whole grain millet, flaxseeds and soybeans) and ground Waitrose brand 10 bean mix ( containing a mix of black eyed beans, black turtle beans, butter beans, haricot beans, lima beans, pinto beans, red kidney beans, rose cocoa beans, alubia beans and mung beans) and black sesame powder, ground almonds, ground walnuts, ground Brazil nuts, ground pumpkin seeds, ground sunflower seeds.

Non water ingredients: about 170 grams.

Cooked with microwave oven. 2+2 minutes.

感謝2006年劉海平的專訪,就借用海平的這篇文章來回答「史東是誰?」這個問題吧:

受訪者簡介:史東,北美著名華語訪談節目「話越地平線」節目制作兼人主持人,節目內 容面向全球華人,跨越各種題目和文化。節目中經常邀請兩岸三地各界知名人士進行交流 。

自1997年「話越地平線」開播後,立即引發華人社會和主流媒體的關注。2001年「話越 地平線」轉入電視頻道,節目曾在國際頻道播出,並屢次獲得如“北加州華人媒體協會”、“ 新加州傳媒”等大獎,史東也多次被CNN電視台、美國之音等多家重量級主流媒體訪問。

越過地平線的聲音

在一篇詳盡介紹灣區精英的文章《灣區、矽谷、亞洲人、美國夢》中,羅列了灣區著名人 物和公司,楊致遠與雅虎、思科公司、蘋果電腦、甲骨文軟件等等。

文章中也包括一段這樣的描述,“在灣區生活的華裔成年人很少有人不知道KTSF周一至周 五晚上的脫口秀’話越地平線’和它的主持人史東先生......”

「話越地平線」的開播要追述到1997年,開始由于當時在中國大陸13個城市播出的美國 流行音樂節目“史東時間”(Rock with Stone),受到美國媒體的關注及報導,引起了美國本地 電台播放該節目的興趣,史東則順勢提出了一個在腦海中構思很久的新設想─「話越地平 線」(China Crosstalk)。

史東認爲,海外華人由于政治立場的不同,加上長久的相互攻擊,形成了一種互不相容,互不信任的局面。「話越地平線」的目的是希望建立一個具有公信力的平台,透過它與全 世界華人交談,來增進彼此間的認識與了解。「話越地平線」名稱包含這“與「地平線彼 岸的人交談」的含義。

1997年4月11日,在沒有廣告,也沒有任何宣傳的情況下,「話越地平線」在舊金山 KVTO(AM1400)電台悄然開播。雖然只是一個小功率電台,但其威力立即得到了各界強烈 反響。聽衆認爲,話越地平線是一股清流,滋潤人心。當地報刊也以「席卷灣區」來形容 節目的影響力。

全球性多平台世界觀華夏情

由于「話越地平線」的成功,史東在2001年與北加州KTSF26台簽下五年合約,從此節目 進入了電視現場直播階段。2006年2月,合約屆滿,史東淡出銀幕,經過五個月的修整,史東再度出山。2006年8月3日開始在「世界電視台」和「沙加緬度八頻道」同時開播史 東主持的新訪談節目「八方論談」(Dialogue 360)。

史東表示,“八方論談”將禀持自己節目一貫的精神與目標,向“多平台”、“全球性”的方向發 展。 “多平台”不僅局限于電視平台,也將利用網路的普及性,在網上播出,並全天取得觀 衆對節目的意見及反饋。

“全球性”是在短期內能與全美十大華人地區電視台合作播出、節目內容將關注全球華人圈 的突發事件、熱門話題,並將邀請世界各地的華人擔任嘉賓。

曾經接受CNN、美國知音專訪的史東認爲,美國媒體對華人社會知之甚少,而促進美中 之間的交流,是每一個媒體人以至華人的責任。

史東複出後的新節目以「八方論談」命名,也是希望節目從名稱到實質具有更廣泛層面上 的意義─開拓「世界觀」,凝聚「華夏情」。

愛國將領後代聽八方論壇聲音

在紀念抗戰勝利60周年的特輯中,史東曾經介紹了自己的父親,愛國將領石邦藩,人稱 「獨臂飛將軍」。

石將軍是二次大戰中第一個擊落日機的中國(盟國)飛行員。

史東是家中幼子,獨特的家世,對他的人生經曆産生了深刻的影響。

史東感慨,做紀念父親的節目中,受訪者是自己的二哥,即便是哥哥也不得不從外面收集 父親的資料,因爲軍旅出身的父親以一種「好漢不提當年勇」的姿態來對待功勳,極少對 兒女提到過往。

「父親的正直對我一生影響最大,在我觀念中,對任何國家中保家衛國的軍人都非常尊敬。」

不少史東的忠實觀衆都認爲「政治議題」是史東節目的一張王牌。

史東表示,在以新聞爲走向的訪談性節目中,「政治議題」是重要一環。政治議題相對更 爲尖銳,令人印象深刻,因此在節目中占有一定比重。

史東坦言,在每期節目的制作中,沒有刻意提升某個議題的比重,而是結合最新時事的發 展和變化而決定當天節目的選題 。

如同大海航行中需要導航,史東制作和主持節目中也有自己的「羅盤」:不問紅黃藍綠,只問黑白;發言的權利比發言的內容更重要;不設防,不設限;黑是黑、白是白。 史東的復出使很多“東粉”(史東的FANS)都歡喜雀躍。

一位觀衆在“八方論談”的網站留言中,送上了這樣的祝福,“祝八方論談開播順利,明察秋 毫,威震八方。”史東也將一如既往,打破政治框架,讓觀衆“八方論談”中聽到來自四面八 方的不同聲音,成爲一個凝聚中國人智慧的中心。
