At about 112.40 pm am on 2009-04-19 (Sunday) I made smoothie with the following:
(a) 100g banana without skin (2.60 g of fibre, 89.0 kcal energy)
(b) 150g cut pineapple (2.10g of fibre, 72.0 kcal energy)
(c) ice cubes = 100g
Method: Use Smoothie Function of Philips Blender HR 2094 3 times for about 30 seconds each time with a 5-second break in between
Total Estimated Dietary Fiber = 4.70g.
Total Estimated Energy = 161.0 kcal
Smoothie produced with Philips Blender HR 2094 = About 350 ml
No. of Serves = 1
Tasters: Myself
Verdict: Very tasty and smooth. Both adults and children would like it
My comments: This smoothie is high in dietary fibre. Banana and pinrapple are both alkaline. Of courrse, enzymes and natural vitamins are a plus for fresh fruit smoothie!
