  1. Hi HL,
I read your blog and bought the JoYoung soy milk maker which I have been using almost every other day since July. Thanks for the great info, review and painstaking effort in uploading the user manual!

My husband and I are vegetarians due to a heart condition that he has, and I also read some of the authors and doctors your mentioned in your blog, such as Caldwell Esselstyn and Colin Campbell of the china study.

Just checking, are these soy beans non GMO? Other than being organic, I also make sure the soybeans I buy are non GMO. Cos Monsanto has developed GM soybean which has a gene altered to make it "Roundup Ready" ie. Resistant to the herbicide Roundup. Over 80% of soybeans grown in USA are GM ones. I buy my non GMO ones from Nature's Glory or Zenxin Organic at pasir Panjang wholesale market :)

  2. Hi,

Many thanks for your feedback. I did not check whether the Origins brand organic soya bean (a product of USA) is Non-GM or not. The label pasted on the packaging does not indicate that the organic soya bean is non-GM. You may contact Origins Healthcare Pte Ltd at Tel: 6745-2402 to find out.

I also eat non-organic soya bean. Soya bean accounts for about 10% of the ingredients of my multigrain rice blended by myself. Normally I take at least one meal of multigrain rice and about 750 ml of green smoothie daily.

    Best regards,
