My homemade black sesame powder made on 2014-02-21. 自制黑芝麻粉

My homemade black sesame made on 2014-02-21.

On 2014/02/29, I bought 500 grams of black sesame seeds at S$3.50 from a dried foodstuff shop in BRR. S$0.70 per 100 grams.

On 2014/02/21, I used my blender chopper to grind the seeds into powder. Then store the powder in refrigerator.

The price of a can of 600-gram black sesame powder from Taiwan is S$13.00. That's S$2.16 per 100 grams.

The black sesame seeds are incredibly rich sources of many essential minerals. Calcium, iron, manganese, zinc, magnesium, selenium, and copper are especially concentrated in sesame seeds. Many of these minerals have a vital role in bone mineralization, red blood cell production, enzyme synthesis, hormone production, as well as regulation of cardiac and skeletal muscle activities.
