(a) Be very careful
when you handle the blade unit.
(b) Be especially
careful when you remove it from the bowl,
when you empty the bowl and when you clean it. Its cutting edges are
very sharp.

(c) Check if the
voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage
before you connect the appliance.

(d) Do not use the
appliance if the mains cord, the plug or other parts are damaged.

(e) If the mains cord
is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service center authorised
by Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

(f) This appliance
can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved.

(g) Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised.

appliance and its cord out of the reach of children aged less than 8 years.

quantities and processing times indicated in the table.

ingredients into pieces of approximately 2cm before you process them.

(3) Never fill the
bowl with ingredients that are hotter than 80°C/175°F.

(4) If the ingredients
stick to the wall of the bowl, remove the motor unit and the lid. Then loosen
the ingredients with a spatula or add some liquid.

(5) Never use any
accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that Philips does not
specifically recommend. If you use such accessories or parts, your guarantee
becomes invalid.

(6) This appliance is
intended for household use only.

(7) Never use
scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or
acetone to clean the appliance.

Recipes
Pancake filling
Ingredients:

130g honey
100g butter (room
temperature)
1. Put the honey in
the fridge for several hours.
2. Put the honey and
the butter (cubes 1,5x1,5 ) into the chopper bowl.
3. Switch on the
appliance and chop for 5 seconds.
Environment

Do not throw away the
appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it
in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this you will help
to preserve the environment (Fig.2).
