Takahi Slow Cooker model HR-1606A purchased on 2009-04-01 to cook multi grain rice/porridge

This afternoon (1st April 2009, Wednesday) I bought a Takahi brand Crockery Pot (i.e. Slow Cooker) Model HR-1606A (red), 5.2- Litre from Best Denki at S$95.00 to the replace the old and smaller slow cooker of which, the inner pot was found leaking after last use on 30th March 2009 although it had been cracked for sometime.

I need the slow cooker mainly for cooking multi-grain rice/porridge.
