Pancreas and Causes of Pancreatic Cancer
It is surrounded by the liver, gallbladder, and small intestine. The pancreas has two main functions. One is to produce digestive fluids needed to neutralize stomach acids and break down food. The second is to produce hormones, such as insulin, that are needed to metabolize sugar.
Pancreatic cancer occurs when abnormal (cancerous) cells grow in the tissues of the pancreas. Ninety-five percent of pancreatic cancers occur in the ducts that carry pancreatic juices.
A rare type of pancreatic cancer, called cystadenocarcinoma, begins in the cells that produce insulin and other hormones.
While little is known about the cause, the following factors may increase the risk of getting pancreatic cancer.
They include:
(1) exposure to cancer-causing agents;
(2) cigarette smoking;
(3) a high fat, low fiber diet;
(4) a diet high in foods containing food additives;
(5) and diabetes.
Although the link has not been proven, people who work with petroleum and certain chemicals used in the dry cleaning industry should follow the safety guidelines for handling these chemicals.

THE WARNING SIGNS of Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)
It results in the enlargement of the prostate gland, an organ located below the bladder which helps in producing semen and in expelling the fluid during ejaculation.
If it becomes enlarged, the prostate puts pressure on the urethra and obstructs it, affecting a man's ability to urinate.
The following are warning signs of BPH:
· A need to urinate frequently, even in the middle of the night.

What is Blood plasma?
It makes up about 55% of total blood volume.
It is comprised of mostly water (90% by volume), and contains dissolved proteins, glucose, mineral ions, hormones, carbon dioxide (plasma being the main medium for excretory product transportation), as well as the actual blood cells.
Blood plasma is prepared simply by spinning a tube of fresh blood in a centrifuge until the blood cells fall to the bottom of the tube.
The blood plasma is then poured or drawn off. Blood serum is blood plasma without fibrinogen or the other clotting factors.[1]

Furthermore, the health professional manning microscope showed us the following in Latte’s blood on the computer monitor:
(a) fat (I the shape of an irregular stripe)
(b) a blood clot. (She copied and pasted this clot at the bottom of the monitor)
She (the health professional) also said that my blood looks fresh and better. Latte’s blood is dark and contains toxins and high cholesterol and the red blood cells less lively.
The results of the above tests for me and Latte are no surprising.
Reasons are:
(1) In the last two to three years, I have been a near-vegetarian and a Calorie Restriction with Optimal Nutrition (CRON) practitioner and my diet has been healthy most of the time. My BMI has been around 19.814 in the last one year.
(2) Latte is overweight. Her BMI now is 26.171. Her diet is very unhealthy. She has been eating junk foods despite my many reminders to her to eat healthy. She just does not care. What can I do?
Upon the advice of the health professional, Latte spent $140.00 to buy some ready-to-take Chinese herbs to “solve” her problems. I will write on the herbs later.

Clumping together of red blood cells and Cancer
In normal blood, the red cells should be round, freely movable, and unattached. That way they can make their way through the blood vessels and accomplish their number one job, which you will remember is to carry oxygen to all the cells of the body.
But the accumulation of undigested protein in the blood makes these red blood cells stick together, like stacks of coins, or like globs of motor oil. Once it gets like this, the blood tends to stay aggregated. Imagine the difficulty, then, for the blood to circulate in such a glopped-up condition.
The smallest blood vessels, through which the blood has to pass each time around, are the capillaries. But unfortunately, the diameter of a capillary is only the same as one of the red blood cells - they're supposed to circulate in single file.
So what happens in a body whose red cells are all stuck together for a few years? It's not rocket science: the tissues of the body become oxygen deprived and are forced to stew in their own wastes.
Are we talking about cancer yet? We sure are. Nobel laureate Dr. Otto Warburg discovered in the 1920s what all researchers now know: most cancers cannot exist well in an oxygen-rich environment.
Why is it that people don't die of cancer of the heart? Just doesn't happen.
Why not? Because that's where the most highly oxygenated blood is, and cancer doesn't like oxygen.

Live Blood Analysis (Microscopic Blood Analysis)
Live Blood Analysis is the process of using a microscope to evaluate shape and the properties of individual blood cells.
Using this process, properly trained health professionals have been able to observe some startling nutritional disorders.
These disorders include some conditions that cannot easily be found by using the traditional methods of blood analysis.
By observing various conditions in a sample of blood, the health professional is able to customize a nutritional program specifically geared for the individual needs of the patient.

What are enzymes, antioxidants and free radicals?
Enzymes are energized protein molecules, which have been termed the "life force" of body chemistry. How much caffeine is too much?
Your susceptibility to caffeine depends on your body mass, state of health, metabolism, and whether or not your body is used to getting regular doses of caffeine. Generally speaking, 500mg per day or less is considered an acceptable dose of caffeine.
Approximate caffeine levels per serve include:
Chocolate drinks – 30 to 60mg
Instant coffee – 60 to 100mg
Drip or percolated coffee – 100 to 150mg
Espresso coffees – such as espresso or latte – 90 to 200mg
Cola drinks – 35mg
Decaffeinated coffee – around 3mg
Tea – 30 to 100mg, depending on the type and strength of the brew
Energy or sports drinks – such as Red Bull or ‘V’ – 80 to 90mg
Dark chocolate bar – 40 to 50mg per 55g serve

Tips for fighting fatigue
Fatigue can be due to numerous causes, such as medical conditions like congestive heart failure, hypothyroidism, or diabetes. It can also be a result of sleep disturbances brought on by menopause, or by physical changes that accompany aging. But while fatigue may be an inescapable part of life, there’s no need to take it lying down. Your body is geared toward generating energy as well as expending it. And there are numerous strategies to help regain the physical and mental energy needed to enjoy life to its fullest.
Eat for energy
The tried-and-true advice for healthful eating also applies to keeping your energy level high:
(1) Eat a balanced diet that includes a variety of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats with an emphasis on vegetables, whole grains, and healthy oils. Taking a daily multivitamin will ensure that you get the vitamins and minerals you need, but taking extra amounts of individual nutrients won’t give you more energy.
(2) Eating certain types of foods in particular amounts can help prevent fatigue. Because different kinds of foods are converted to energy at different rates, some — such as candy and other simple sugars — can give you a quick lift, while others — such as whole grains and healthy unsaturated fats — supply the reserves you’ll need to draw on throughout the day.
(3) Eat small, frequent meals. Where energy is the issue, it’s better to eat small meals and snacks every few hours than three large meals a day. This approach can reduce your perception of fatigue because your brain, which has very few energy reserves of its own, needs a steady supply.
Reduce stress
The most common cause of persistent fatigue is stress and the emotional response to it. People who feel fatigued most of the time don’t necessarily have more stress in their lives than other people, but they may be more sensitive to its effects. Stress-induced emotions consume huge amounts of energy. Relaxation therapy can be an effective tool for reducing stress and naturally boosting your energy, particularly when used in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy. Meditation, self-hypnosis, yoga, and tai chi are all relaxation techniques. One of the easiest techniques to use is progressive muscle relaxation, which involves systematically tightening and releasing sets of muscles, beginning with your toes and progressing up your legs, torso, hands, and arms. You might also consider other relaxation therapies, including aromatherapy and massage. No matter what age you are, there are things that you can do to feel more energetic.
