My 40th homemade bread (a failed baking) was made on 2015-05-06, Wednesday after the 39th bread made on 2015--03-10.

My 40th homemade bread (a failed experiment) was made on 2015-05-06, Wednesday after the 39th bread made on 2015--03-10. This bread was made with Bob's Red Mill Unbromated Unbleached Organic White Flour for handmade bread and bread machines.

Light crust. Started at 7.22 pm. Baking with timer = 3 hours 30 minutes. I Used Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Bread Maker.

Ingredients: (See bread recipe below)

3/4 cup of water (not 2/3 cup)
2 cups of Bob's Red Mill Unbromated Unbleached Organic White Flour for bread making
1.5 Tbsp SIS brand icing sugar
1.5 Tbsp Anlene milk powder
0.5 Tsp salt
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tsp Active Dry Yeast

Results: The did not rise well. Not as soft as white bread bought in provision shop. Dimensions: 7 cm x 9 xm x 12 cm. Tasted ok for me. But No good. Failed.

Reason of Failure : Unknown.

Lesson learned: May be the the active dry yeast needs to be increased to 2 tsp.
