AMD (Age-Related Macular Degeneration) and green smoothie and avoid processed foods

AMD (Age-Related Macular Degeneration) is a common eye condition among people age 50 and older. It is a leading cause of vision loss in older adults.

According to a lady eye doctor in the radio talk show of FM938 at 4.50 pm on 2013/05/02, to prevent AMD (Age-Related Macular Degeneration), we should eat a lot of rainbow of colorful fruits and vegetables and avoid processed food.

I take a lot of fruits and vegetables by taking green smoothie daily. I about 400 grams of fruits and 100 to 150 grams of organic green leafy vegetable daily.
