At about 11.00 am am on 2009-04-27 (Monday) I made smoothie for the first time with the following:
\(a) 230g mango (flesh only) (4.14 g of fibre, 149.5 kcal energy)
(b) 80g banana without skin (2.08g of fibre, 71.2 kcal energy)
(c) ice cubes = 150g
Method: Use Smoothie Function of Philips Blender HR 2094 3 times for about 30 seconds each time with a 5-second break in between
Total Estimated Dietary Fiber = 6.22g.
Total Estimated Energy = 220.7 kcal
Smoothie produced with Philips Blender HR 2094 = About 490 ml No. of Serves = 2 Tasters: MyselfVerdict: Sweet. Very tasty and smooth
My comments: The smoothie is very sticky. My throat was not comfortable after taking the smoothie probably because mango is a heaty food. Next time I should use only maximum 100g mango for the smoothie.
