Saturated fats and Cholesterol

Choose healthy fats.

Avoid saturated fats, which increase unhealthy LDL levels, and steer clear of trans fats, which both raise LDL and lower protective HDL.

Instead, substitute healthier unsaturated fats found in fish, nuts, and vegetable oils.
