Green Smoothie: Ripe Banana + choy sum + Orange + Ice for the first time Ref: i09d10

At about 1.00 pm on 2009-04-10 (Friday) I made smoothie with the following:

(a) 30g cai xin (also called choy sum or choi sum or chai sim)(Botanical Name: Brassica parachinensis) (Dietary fibre, 0.81g, Energy 6.60 Kcal)

(b) 120g Orange (Dietary fibre 2.88g, Energy 56.40 kcal)

(c) 90g Banana Raw (Dietary fibre 2.34g, Energy 80.10 kcal)

(d) Ice Cubes = 140g

Method: Use Smoothie Function of Philips Blender HR 2094 3 times for about 30 seconds each time with a 5-second break in between

Total Estimated Dietary Fiber = 6.03 g. (24.12 % of daily requirement 25 grams)

Total Estimated Energy = 143.1 kcal

Smoothie produced with Philips Blender HR 2094 = About 490 ml
